    Lissa Boyer

    Owner & Instructor

Lissa is the owner and lead instructor at Sculpted Swan. She began her career as a Special Education Teacher but discovered her passion for movement and wellness after overcoming Breast Implant Illness. Through her own journey of healing—focusing on nutrition, exercise, and overall well-being—she found Reformer Pilates and never looked back.

In 2020, Lissa became a 500-hour Comprehensively Certified Pilates Instructor, adding certifications in TRX, functional movement, and reflexology to her expertise. She firmly believes that movement is medicine, and she tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs. Whether helping clients improve strength, mobility, and overall wellness or working with athletes to enhance their sport-specific performance, Lissa is committed to making Pilates accessible and transformative for all.

When she’s not in the studio, you can find Lissa at the ballpark with her family or curled up with a good book.

    Meg Martinez

    Instructor

Meg is a 500-hour Comprehensively Trained Pilates Instructor, a mom of three, and a proud dog and goat mom. Her Pilates journey began after her own weight loss, as she sought a way to build muscle, move her body, and support her mental well-being. What started as a personal practice quickly grew into a passion, leading her to complete her certification in 2020.

Meg finds joy in helping clients leave the studio feeling better—both physically and mentally—than when they arrived. She is especially passionate about injury prevention, whether you're training for an event, transitioning from physical therapy, or simply looking to move and feel stronger in your everyday life.

    Bettina McCullough

    Instructor

Bettina grew up in Los Angeles, CA, and earned her B.S. in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University. After graduating, she moved to Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, where a friend introduced her to Pilates. She immediately knew she wanted to teach.

Having struggled with neck issues and severe scoliosis, Bettina experienced firsthand how Pilates could relieve pain and improve both physical and mental well-being. She pursued her passion, becoming 600-hour comprehensively certified through Pilates of Hawaii. Her career led her to work at prestigious resorts, including the Four Seasons Hualalai Resort and Kukio Golf and Beach Club, while also running her own business, Big Island In-Home Pilates.

Bettina relocated to Lakeland to be closer to her husband’s family. She has a deep passion for teaching and loves helping her clients achieve their goals while experiencing the transformative benefits of Pilates. She is happily married and a proud mom of four.

In 2023, she expanded her expertise by earning her 500-hour Comprehensive Pilates Instructor Certification.

    Katie Marki

    Instructor

With an athletic background spanning basketball, weight training, running, and high-intensity cardio, Katie discovered Pilates while searching for a more sustainable workout routine. She was drawn to its balance of strength, stretching, and muscle lengthening, a refreshing shift from high-impact workouts that often required long recovery periods due to muscle breakdown.

Katie quickly fell in love with Pilates and now tells everyone about its benefits. In 2024, she became a 500-hour Comprehensively Certified Instructor to help others find a fitness routine that supports them at any age and stage of life.

The instructors at Sculpted Swan are independent contractors who collaborate with us to provide high-quality Pilates instruction. Each instructor sets their own availability and teaching approach. While they work within our studio, they operate independently and are not employees of Sculpted Swan. All instructors carry their own professional liability insurance. Additionally, we work with apprentices who are completing their hours of training for their Pilates certification, providing them with hands-on experience under the guidance of our skilled instructors.
